MakePassPhoto processes photos entirely in your web browser.

What happens to your photo

When you add a photo, it is read by your browser, analysed by face-detection models that run locally (Google MediaPipe, downloaded from our own site), and cropped on your device. The photo is not uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and it is discarded when you close or reload the page.

What we do collect

We may count anonymous usage events such as “document selected”, “photo processed” or “download button clicked” to understand which features are used. These events contain no image data and no personal information. During this preview they are only stored in your own browser.

Payments

Paid downloads are not available yet. When they launch, payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider and this page will be updated before then.
